![]() ![]() Choose a shared folder from the Folder list and select Map the Network Drive. Fill in username and password and press okay. My suggestion was to look your router but it sounds like you did that and its not there so again, it indicates your NAS is not on your Eero Network. Point at the NAS you want to connect first then find Connect and click Storage Plug & Connect. If you are using windows 10, try make sure that network discovery is enabled. Launch or Install Qfinder and find the NAS in the device list. Theres a connection button on the browser, but I cant recall ever having added a user. Im able to access the TS-128A via ping and the browser. can try replacing it, but i suspect the issue in this case is something else.Īre you by chance running your pc client in a non admin account? can you try run qnap finder using admin to see if that makes any difference? or possibly reinstall qfinder? TS-128A is connect directly to the router via ethernet cable. Only other thing i can think of is the ethernet cable has a issue. I'm assuming that your qnap leds are all indicative that it is powered on and without issue? usually if there is a serious issue it would blink different led colors or make beeping noises. I recommend you set a static ip in QTS so that the qnap nas ip remains fixed and unaffected if the router goes down. Its low monthly fee enables homes and small businesses to build a cost-effective and flexible video surveillance system. But it was a very apropos joke with whats going on in the world. My previously mapped network drives also work fine, but I need to map an additional drive and don't know how to, other than through QFinder Pro. I am able to see my NAS on my router and I am also able to ping the NAS through my PC. If you ever replace a member drive with a new drive, the new drive must be synchronised with the array. QFinder Pro can't find my NAS on my Windows machine which is hardwired to the NAS through a switch 5ft away. Its a more involved operation than scrubbing, so it takes longer to perform. ![]() Also how is your qnap getting it's ip? does it have a static ip setup? or did you do a DHCP? QVR Elite is the subscription-based network video recorder software for QNAPs QTS, QuTS hero, and QNE Network operating systems.
